Grocery Rescue
We make regular trips to local grocery stores to pick up food donations and deliver them to Pajaro Valley Loaves and Fishes. Volunteers serve as trusted drivers, helping to ensure good food is not wasted and instead reaches people who need it.
Grocery rescue is an important part of our work. It reduces food waste, supports local businesses, and helps keep our pantry and kitchen stocked to serve the community consistently.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy independent tasks and representing Loaves and Fishes in the community. Pickup days and hours are flexible and can be scheduled to fit your availability.
